5 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari

Arrival Day Arrival

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, a Tanzania Excellent Tour representative will meet you and drive you to your lodge where you’ll spend one night. We recommend that you try and get an early night ahead of your 5 days Tanzania luxury safari which will start the following day.

Day 1 Lake Manyara National Park

In the morning after breakfast (around 7:30 AM) your safari guide will arrive at the hotel and inform the receptionist that he is waiting for you. After meeting up with your driver you will travel to Lake Manyara National Park, and by 10:00 AM you will already be on your first safari!

The entire territory of this park is cut through with groundwater streams that provide a favorable environment for plants and, in addition, for a multitude of birds (including pink flamingos) and African forest animals.

Day 2 Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will start the safari by being transferred to the central part of the Serengeti (also called Seronera). Here your driver will try to find the animals you’re the most interested in. Closer to lunch time you will visit the Serengeti Visitor Centre, where you will be offered a lunchbox and provided with lots of interesting information not only about the animals’ populations but also about the history of the National Park. Also, in this area you will be able to see hyraxes, which are the elephant’s closest relatives.

It is difficult to describe in detail all the animals of the Serengeti valley, for the number in the thousands: elephants, buffalo, ostriches, giraffes, jackals, hyenas, lions, antelopes, leopards and cheetahs—just keep your eyes peeled and enjoy the nature around you.

In the evening you will be transferred to a hotel, where you will have dinner and be able to rest.

Day 3 Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will start the safari by being transferred to the central part of the Serengeti (also called Seronera). Here your driver will try to find the animals you’re the most interested in. Day 4 Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, descend into the crater with lunch box enjoying the game drive for more than six hours. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard crater floor.

Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha / Moshi

We will start the day very early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth. After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful hippo Lake. After lunch, we will have time for a short game drive and then ascend the crater and exit Ngorongoro Crater, vacation Area towards Arusha / Moshi.
